What We Collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. Chinese Mountains is a static website without user accounts. We run privacy-respecting aggregate analytics and no advertising. Here's what we do collect:

• •Email (if you contact us): If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever information you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and never share it with anyone.

Third-Party Services

We load a small number of third-party resources on our pages:

• •Google Analytics 4 (anonymized): We collect aggregate usage analytics — pages viewed, referrer, country, and device type — to understand which guides are useful. We do not run advertising, and we do not sell or share analytics data.
• •Map tiles (via CartoDB): Our interactive maps fetch background tiles from CartoDB, which may log standard request data in server logs.

Fonts and map styles are served directly from our own domain, and we do not run advertising pixels or social-media trackers. The analytics above are the only tracking on this site.

Your Rights

Since we store no personal data (except emails you voluntarily send us), there's not much to exercise rights over. If you've emailed us and want your correspondence deleted, just reply and ask — we'll delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever add analytics, advertising, or user accounts, we'll update this page and note the changes clearly. The current version will always be at this URL.
